At HCA, diversity and inclusion is part of what makes us Better Together. We are committed to building an inclusive culture with diverse perspectives that not only celebrate the value in our differences, but also promote a sense of belonging amongst all our workforce.
As we strive to build a diverse yet united HCA, it’s important to understand how we each can do our part to be inclusive, create unity and equity, and instill a sense of belonging for all team members. As part of our overall D&I strategy, we offer D&I training on a wide range of relevant topics, such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and building allyship where team members can further their development and knowledge around all things D&I.
These resources are both in-person and virtual and work to build a foundation of equity for all. HCA also proudly invests in the creation and development of Employee Resource Groups, and Corporate Social Responsibility programs to encourage the development of new perspectives and promote a sense of pride in the communities we live and work, building unity for all team members.
Employee Resource Groups are team member-led and core to our D&I initiatives, as they foster a culturally diverse workplace and help build strong networks, support engagement, build leadership skills, provide mentorship opportunities, and encourage community outreach.
