Ross Williams, President & CEO

Ross Williams, President & CEO, joined the Hyundai Capital family in February 2010 as Hyundai Capital America’s (HCA) Vice President and Department Head of Commercial Credit. He became HCA’s Vice President and Department Head of Sales and Marketing before moving to Hyundai Capital Canada to serve as their President & CEO. After a year in Toronto, Ross returned to HCA where he has been the President & CEO since July of 2015. Prior to joining Hyundai Capital, Ross held leadership positions at GE Capital and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Williams earned his BA in Finance from Michigan State University.

Daniel (Hyung Seok) Lee, CFO

Daniel (Hyung Seok) Lee was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Hyundai Capital America (HCA) in November 2016. He brings over 20 years corporate finance experience to HCA, the last twelve years in captive automotive finance at Hyundai Capital where he held senior leadership positions including FP&A, treasury, accounting, and international finance. Prior to joining Hyundai Capital, he led Korea Development Leasing Corporation through the Asian financial crisis by implementing debt restructuring initiatives and establishing a management review system. Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University and an MBA from Western Ontario University.

Marcelo Brutti, CRO

Marcelo Brutti is the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Hyundai Capital America (HCA) and oversees the Risk Management Division’s five departments, including Consumer Risk Management, Commercial Credit and Risk Management, Consumer Credit Underwriting and Funding, Enterprise Data Strategy, and Information Protection. He is responsible for enterprise-wide risk management and controls the company’s risk exposure and portfolio risk strategy. He directs the company’s efforts to set risk appetite, assess and forecast credit and residual value risk, and determines strategies to optimize them. Marcelo comes to Hyundai Capital America from Santander Bank, N.A., where he was the CRO in charge of the Risk Management and Compliance groups. Prior to joining Santander, he held senior leadership roles in the Risk Management units of TD Bank, Wells Fargo, and VISA Inc.

Jim Hazboun, CHRO & CAO

Jim Hazboun is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Hyundai Capital America (HCA). At HCA, Jim is the head of the corporate services division, which includes human resources, corporate culture, enterprise program management office, business innovation, procurement, and administration services. Prior to joining HCA in 2012, Jim has served key roles at such organizations as JPL/NASA/Caltech, Indymac Bancorp, EDS, and In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Jim is an advisor and coach to several executives and entrepreneurs. He is also serves on the Executive Board of Conscious Capitalism in Orange County. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts from the University of the Pacific, where he was also an NCAA Division 1-A Football scholarship recipient. His interests include reading, entrepreneurial endeavors, mixed martial arts, and spending time with his family.

Eckart Klumpp, Senior Vice President

Eckart Klumpp is Senior Vice President of Hyundai Capital America (HCA), where he leads the Dealer Service Division responsible for sales, product development and marketing efforts to drive growth and positive relationship with our OEM partners and dealers. Prior to joining HCA in 2017, Eckart served as the President & CEO of Hyundai Capital Canada. Eckart has spent over 25 years in the automotive finance industry. His career spanned TD Bank, Chrysler Financial, DaimlerChrysler and Mercedes-Benz. He has broad functional expertise, having held leadership roles in sales, customer service, remarketing, and internal audit. Eckart received his MBA from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Carol Moore, Vice President and General Counsel

Carol Moore is Vice President and General Counsel of Hyundai Capital America (HCA), where she leads the Legal and Compliance teams. Prior to joining HCA in 2010, Ms. Moore served for 2 years as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Resurgent Capital Services, and for 3 years as Senior Finance Counsel at American Honda Finance Corporation. As part of her over 30 years as an attorney in the auto finance industry, Carol has also led the legal departments of Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation and Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America. Carol received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and is a graduate of the Harvard Law School.

Scott Belkofer, Vice President at Hyundai Capital Insurance

Scott Belkofer is Vice President Hyundai Capital Insurance, leading both Sales and Operational efforts of the Insurance business at HCA. Scott’s 28 year career in the Automotive Captive business began at Ford Motor Credit Co. where he performed branch and region management positions. Since joining Hyundai Capital America in 2005, Scott has served as Regional Manager - Central Region, Vice President Field Sales for Hyundai Motor Finance and Kia Motors Finance, and recently accepted the position of Vice President Hyundai Capital Insurance. Scott is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan earning degrees in Marketing and Advertising.

Katherine Cassidy, Chief Audit Executive

Katherine Cassidy is the Chief Audit Executive at Hyundai Capital America (HCA), responsible for all aspects of the Internal Audit Department, including reviews in areas such as operations, IT, ethics & compliance, privacy & security and risk management. Katherine closely interfaces with the U.S. and Korea executive management team, business leadership and other compliance organizations to assess and mitigate risk. Prior to joining HCA in 2014, Katherine served as Senior Director, Internal Audit at Qualcomm for 8 years and KPMG, LLP for 15 years, in the Audit, Tax and Assurance areas. Katherine has extensive experience as an audit executive with progressive expertise in accounting, auditing, compliance, investigations, risk management, and taxation. Katherine has comprehensive experience in international and domestic industries, including technology, financial services, and manufacturing and consumer markets.

Hwanjun Yang, Senior Vice President and CIO

Hwanjun Yang is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Hyundai Capital America (HCA). He has 7 years of experience at Hyundai Capital Service (HCS), where he led IT Innovation. Prior to joining HCS in 2011, Hwanjun worked at major consulting firms such as A.T. Kearney, Deloitte, and PwC. He also spent 3 years at IBM as a senior consultant. Throughout the 20 years of Hwanjun’s professional career, he has led IT organizations and focused on transformation projects to address business demands and infuse new technologies to produce best outcomes. Hwanjun received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Yonsei University in Seoul.
