Position Senior Manager, Operations Analytics

JOB SUMMARY

Essential functions of the position.
Provide oversight and strategic direction on department initiatives to drive innovation; stand-in for Team Lead when appropriate. Ensure Credit/Funding business activities and processes are efficient, results-oriented, and compliant with industry, legal and regulatory standards.
Directly manage the Operations Analytics team and strategy. Coordinate the design, development, and automation of business information systems and analytical solutions. Provide leadership oversight to establish priorities and direction for Process Control and Quality Assurance functions.
Independently lead large scale department initiatives, ensuring strategy and tactics align with organizational objectives.
Ensure Credit/Funding business activities (technology use, policies, and procedures) are efficient, results-oriented, and compliant with industry, legal and regulatory standards. Analyze weaknesses and formulate strategic roadmap for improvements. Provide leadership to establish priorities and directions for Process Control and Quality Assurance functions.
Oversight and direction on department initiatives to ensure strategic objectives are met in a timely manner; stand-in for Team Lead when appropriate. Independently lead large scale department initiatives, ensuring strategy and tactics align with organizational objectives.
Design and build tailored presentations. Audience Examples: Executive Management, HCS, HMA, KMA, Investment Banks, State Examiners, and Dealers. This will include making presentations when necessary in Focus Meetings and other executives to gain strategy alignment.
Establish KPI performance monitoring systems and initiative tracking dashboards. Ensure departments reporting systems, databases, and infrastructure meet the needs of a growing finance business. Examples include decision analytics, performance management, incentive based pay, and ad-hoc reporting of Consumer Credit Operations staff.
Coordinate the development of the Operations Analytics teams. Supervise the preparation of budgets. Manage the recruiting and staffing process for Operations Analytics team
Coordinate with Regional teams, HCS, Risk Management, and other departments as necessary to develop and enhance operational analytics and operational effectiveness.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION
7-10 years related auto finance / captive finance industry experience (Credit, Funding, Collections, etc.)
Subject matter expertise in Sales, Marketing, Operations, or other functional area
Prefer 5+ years in analytical project development
Experience developing Executive and Process Dashboards and monitoring tools
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA a plus, but not required
